Montblanc 139 Value?

Hi folks, it's been a while since I posted. I've been in that non-FP phase for some time. I needed to get some advice on what 139's are going for these days. I know it varies so much, but could use some opinions on my L139 medium window, original box, Masterpiece on the ring.

 

I haven't seen any on ebay lately, are these things getting harder to find or what's the story?

No and Yes :-) , most of them are for the collection or still sold on request. If I have a pen for sale I normally offer on pen shows or within our penboard.de I have a good stock of pens for sale, but no time to do this. I like collecting pens, they do not need a big space for storage..... and it doesnt matter if they are for a long time in stock.

One has sold on december the 11 on ebay for....... 1943 euros !!!!! Yes, a L 139 !!!

Interestingly, there has been a flock of 139s passing thru ebay.de lately, 5 or 6, condition from top to the grave.Prices from 1118 dollars to 2250-2800 for much better condition.

Fully sorted and restored are still in the $3500 range though. Those cheaper ones may never be able to be more than parts.
