Really cool! The poetry and the calligraphy. How long did it take you to learn? What are you using in terms of the pen? I am left handed and continue wanting to try something like this.

Ea Alis Volat Propiis, per/Repletus Fontis Calamus!
She Flies by Her Own Wings, with filled Fountain Pen

Delta DolceVita, F-C Intrinsic 02, Pelikan M800 red/black striation, Bexley ATB Strawberry Swirl, Red Jinhao 159, Platinum 3776 Bourgogne.

Thanks Fountainpenlady,

The first two are with a dip pen fitted with a Leonardt ef111 nib.

The others are with a Manuscript broad nibbed fountain pen, which i highly reccomend.

I've been doing Calligraphy for about two years.

Best wishes

Very attractive; nice stroke control on those cadel letters.

Beautiful work. I have yet to attempt any cadel letters. Thank you for sharing your writing.

PS this sort of thing usually goes on the Penmanship forum.

Those cadels look nice. Also, as barleycorn mentioned, you should post this in the Penmanship forum. There are some seriously good people who hang out there.
