Montblanc Meisterstück 146 - Nib Size?

I have just received my Montblanc Meisterstück 146 with a monotone nib (1980's?). The seller claims that it is a OB nib, however, I do not seem to see any difference between it and my 149 B nib. Can you guys give me your thoughts?

I'm wondering if the box is original:

I downloaded your nib picture and cropped and zoomed, (not great quality and pixelated) but.....appears to be an Oblique to my eyes..

I've just taken some closer shots of the 146 and 149 nibs. Sorry about the iPad quality pictures...

Now a comparative writing sample:

After writing with both pens for a few hours, I do realize some slight differences. There is subtle line variation with the 146 OB nib and none with the 149 B. Anyways, I paid $270 for the 146, and am quite pleased with it. I'm falling in love with the OB nib... this will only push me to purchase more OB nib pens in the future (Maybe the Balzac?)

Thank you everyone!

Congrats. I have an 80s 146 and it is a fantastic writer. May you enjoy it for years to come.

I have an oblique 146 from the mid 70's and it is indeed a fantastic writer

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
