Nescafe Gold Blend Pen

Anyone know about these, they have no brand name on?

That is a kit pen very similar to the ones I used to make back in the old days when I turned pens... (see the picture below of one I just donated to my daughter's school )

They generally have nice writing nibs and use international cartridges.... the hardware was 10K gold plated... the nibs ARE NOT made in Germany despite the marking... the company that used to distribute the kits told me the nibs are Oriental and the tipping came from Germany... they are referred to as IPG nibs...

The one is question was most likely made as a give away for the Nescafe company and is not worth much...
The one pictured below turned from Amboyna burl would have sold for about $65 because of the real nice piece of wood...

That's great! Thanks. Yes, I heard that they were given out to company reps, it only cost me 2.99 before postage so no problem

They may have also given the pens to company reps, but I'm pretty sure I got one as part of a special offer - which involved sending off old coffee jar wrappers in exchange for various gifts. I got mugs, a sugar bowl and an apron the same way during the heyday of Nescafe drinking in the 1980s. I can't seem to find my pen now (though I have all the other things) but will keep looking.
