Montblanc Storage

Just wondering how everyone stores their Montblanc pen/s / collection ?? Are there any special storage cases out there? I wouldn't think that with such an investment they are left to roll around in a drawer....

They are just like any other pen. Some sit in their box, others sit in a pretty basic display case. When one is in use it is in my pocket or just sitting on the desk. They get no special treatment.

I have a cabinet with a sliding door -- large upright model. It holds folders with slides and negatives, cameras and lenses and my fountain pens. I do have a few pen pouches, for 1, 2 or 3 pens, but often these are in use, so the pens that are not in rotation, are stored in the cabinet. Very boring, very "office like" but also very practical.

(Inks are in a desk drawer; blank notebooks in a second drawer, stationery in two separate "slots" between drawers and desk top.)

Sounds like a must have cabinet for a well equipped man!

Do you mind to share pic of it?

Personally, I have a leather folio although it is now full so I do need to find an alternative solution in the near future. Currently top of my list is a Laban 40 pen chest.

The lacquered MB boxes are beautiful. You can pick them up on e-bay but they are available from the boutiques.

I use the lacquered MB box as well..... Have five spots to fill but can't seem to find any others that I really like at the moment. Here's a pic:

It's very practical and for the spare bedroom, I don't mind its business-like looks that much. Here it is:

Very very nice collection!

And how do you store your other pens?

I think this is only a part of your collection.

Clean and tidy!

But I like the second bookshelf more! Nice collection of penboxes.
