My only concern is that, being aluminium, it would mark your hands. Could you get it anodized (preferably hard anodized - then it would never mark)?

Looks nice though. What was the alloy you used? 6082-T6 is the easiest to get in the UK, though 6063-T6 looks nicer than 6082 & anodizes better.

Regards,

Richard.

They give it a good try imho.

But it reduces the craftmanship from Nakaya to just a piece of metal, one can make everybody if a little bit handy

Lovely. I like the minimalist look of the metal.

Awesome, looks great! This is what I keep wanting to see on Kickstarter instead of another body for the Hi-Tec-C.

Do you plan on making this a daily writer/carry?

Thank you. Yes I do intend to use it for daily carry. It is quite light and accomodates the long cartridge/converters. It is only jointed at the cap and I have no concerns about breaking it if I carry it in my pants pocket. The long section makes it a comfortable writer. On my next version, I plan to use 14 mm cap threads instead of the 12mm on this one, in order to reduce the barrel to section step for further improvement.

Nice!

It''s both minimalist and quasi-industrial, at the same time. it could be used in almost any situation from a machine shop, to a laboratory, or a board room, and look sharp doing it.
