I seen transparent feed on the Monteverde Artista Crystal and Wearever that uses "C-Flow" feeds.

What other brands and models that uses transparent feed?

I have a Chinese pen of unknown brand and model that has one. It cost about 20 US$. It has a logo of a letter "R" with a dot above it. Until your post it was the only one I knew about.

Back in the old days both Eversharp ( late skylines) and Parker VP's used them.

Sensitive Pen Restoration doesn't cost extra.

I search those and it seemed to be available only in Japan market, right?

All the purchase links are either amazon.jp or rakuten japan. :gaah:

saw your review, nice looking pen but cant see the feed. :bawl: lol

Pilot Crystal Clear ?

I wonder why don't more companies produce pens with transparent feed, I find them more aesthetically pleasing.

Well I got my from Amazon.co.jp when I was in Japan. Though for the price of a cheap Sailor Demonstrator. Surprise to find it with a transparent feed. Uses a Sailor Steel F-2 Nib

I have a Pilot Vanishing Point with a translucent feed, and now that I have looked I have two Platinum 'pocket pens', one with a steel nib and one with a 14K nib, both have transparent feeds.

As a note, I have 2 VP pens and only one has a noticeably translucent feed, it happens to be the one I purchased from Richard Binder.

I was just about to this comment when the though formed, "I wonder how many of them work worth beans." My experience with clear feeds is limited to the Parker VS (works brilliantly) and the various Wearevers with C-Flows (horrible, probably why Parker had to abandon it in the VS).

The Pilot Crystal was one of the pens that I wouldn't recommend since the plastic is very prone to cracking. I had more than five, and they sadly all fell apart and developed huge amounts of cracks in a few weeks. Most modern Pilot pens have dark blue translucent feeds including the Capless and the Pilot Custom pens. Even many older Pilot pens have it.

I have a picture of it here with a Myu-90

Some older Platinum pens have lighter blue translucent feeds as well. The new ones have black feeds.

I've got an old Arnold with a clear feed. I like the way they look! Personally I think making the feed clear plastic is the only excuse for a feed to not be made of ebonite. :notworthy1:

The Conklin Victory is probably one of the most recent pens to have a transparent feed. The pen is nothing special, but it is neat to see the feed change color with each new ink.

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA
