Pilot Super Pens

Specifically the Super 500G, Super 200G and Super 200.

 

Are these pens good as collectors and users ?

I prefer pens that are semi-unusual but that can be put into the rotation and enjoyed.

 

I see a couple that are enough unusual that they are attractive but would they be a pleasure to use? IE fairly smooth, no skipping, dependable ?

Below are some images from my website.

All of the Super models are super and collectible. Sunami mentions in FPOJ they are 'very collectible.' The 500 Series has the more interesting nib but, does not come in the variety of flavor one finds in the 300 and 200. The photograph below depicts less than one-half of the varieties of color not including gold-filled and solid-gold caps. They also formed the platform for a good number of makie models too.

Well I took a shot and won the auction and it should be here in about a months time.

 

Looking forward to seeing what the pen is all about.

 

The fat band around the middle reminds me of some Sheaffers and I really like the color, kinda tealish.
