Parker Vector - Your Opinion Please ?

I bought a Parker Vector last year. Although I bought it on the internet from China, it is stamped made in the U.K. I am suspicious that was actually made in the U.K. since the Chinese are known for making copies of lots of merchandise. It has a medium nib. It writes nicely but I do not like the 'medium' nib. It writes more like a broad nib. The ink seems to gush forth quite freely ! For this reason I seldom ever use this pen. Should I try a Vector with a fine nib, or should I just give up on the Vector series?

Parker Vectors are nice inexpensive pens. I suggest you try out a fine nib before giving up on this series as there is a slight, but noticeable, difference between M and F nibs. Buying pens can quickly become an expensive hobby...

That`s a very geniune, english-made vector. It may sound incredible, but my fined-nibbed vector sometime wrote like a broad(depending on the paper and ink). It has a great nib, but lays down a truly thick line.
