5 Year Memory Book

Hi all!

I'm posting to show off a gorgeous new mini-journal that was my favourite souvenir from a trip to England last year. It describes itself as a 5 year memory book, designed to show you what you were doing on any one day for the last five years. I stumbled over it at the V&A museum of all places.

I assumed that once I returned home I'd start noticing these types of journals all over the place, but I'm yet to see anything even remotely similar. Does anyone else know of a company that sells similar style journals? It's never too early to start stocking up for the next 5 years. ;)

Ideally the next time I buy one of these, I'd like to get one slightly bigger so I can include more of my day - I've photographed the journal next to my tiny Sailor Chalana fountain pen for scale, and believe me when I say that it is a very small book.

Thanks!

The Sunshine

Levenger sells them, too.

5-year

10-year

I also recall seeing something similar at Staples, but now I can't find it online, so maybe I imagined it.

Thanks for all the advice guys! I'm glad to see that I can actually get similar products outside of England. I particularly love the look of the 5 year Levenger journal... that will definitely be the one I buy next time around. Thanks also to those who commented on the content also (and kudos on being able to read my chicken-scratch handwriting!) - we've had a bit of illness in the family in the last month but are all A-OK now.

I'd approach the levenger 5 year journal with caution...just my experience but so far, the paper(s) used under the levenger brand is atrocious for fountain pens...rough, spread, feathering, and bleedthrough. May want to contact Levenger customer service and inquire first. They do have a reputation for first rate service.

This is a GREAT idea. I’m going to dedicate an A4 Rhodia or Leuchtturm 1917 journal for this purpose starting on 1st January 2013. It will be very interesting to see same date of my life for 14 years on the same page. This is really a great idea.

Regards,

Halid

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into that before making any buying decision.
