Help In Identifying A Rotring Pen

Hello forum! I've been lurking for a while and decided to join.

I have a rotring pen, it's a 3 in 1 model; black ink, orange highligher, 0.7 mechanical pencil.

Made of metal (unsure of the alloy), cylindrical all around, and each ink tube has the text: rOtring, Made in Germany.

Here are some pictures

Any help in identifying it will be appreciated! Thanks! :ltcapd:

I don't know about yours, but I am interested to know more too. I have the same model, but with 3 pencil choices. 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7 mm. No idea about the name neither.

Great pens I have had a couple, the first, a black version was half inched by a sticky fingered pupil at school. It had survived several such escape attempts but eventually disappeared into history. I still have the second one which is silver. Well made and built to last, the only issue was the small capacity of the ballpoint refills and where o get replacements.

I also have a companion pen to the Rotring 400 I reviewed recently. It's a ballpoint and 0.5 pencil, built on the same principle, but with the 400's design.

I could recently grab the last BP refills they had at a shop, I was told they weren't produced anymore. So long for longevity.

I had found some short Waterman refills too (for a 4 colors (blue, red, black, green) BP pen I have also) but they aren't compatible.

"Exotic" ballpoints definitely are shortlived, compared to fountain pens.
