Thanks ! What a pity that section is designed to cripple the fingers. Otherwise, the simple design of this pen, its weight and the very high quality nib would have made it one of my favourites.

The section looks identical to the front part of my Tikky MP.

I have no problem with it although admittedly I use MP's mostly for drawing, not writing.

The Schmidt K5 converter will suit almost every Rotring fountain pen.

 

By the way, I used brute force on an old Rotring 400 nib last night:

There, I fixed it.

It's probably not something to be emulated. :lol:

Thanks for the review.

 

A pen to perhaps not add to my collection.

Rob Maguire (Plse call me "M or Mags" like my friends do...)I use a Tablet, Apple Pencil and a fountain pen. Targas, Sailor, MB, Visconti, Aurora, vintage Parkers, all wonderful.
