Here's my review of Blue Ghost. :D

↑ Meant to say it glows a bright whitish blue, not green.

And some close ups:

Can't believe I actually found shading in there. I guess I have to revise the number I gave it at first…

It's great fun to sit in the dark and practice calligraphy with a dim UV light while your wife sleeps. :D

Haha, I was wondering the same thing. And I would have too, if I hadn't been beaten to the punch. ;)

Does it show at all in normal light?

It depends. I hadn't taken the pen down all the way to clean it, so the review actually has a very slight pink tinge to the ink under normal lighting, so you have to be careful about making sure your pen is absolutely clean. And even then, you can still tell if you're looking at it from the right angle. But overall the paper looks pretty unremarkable unless you know what you're searching for.

Of course if you stick it in a flex pen like I did you can see the tine paths dug into the paper pretty easily.

Ha, I don't think anyone else put Blue Ghost in a flex pex. It might look brighter on a not-white paper.

this ink is amazing! and you can mix it with SOME inks, and get some pretty cool mixes!

Me! I was going to comment, "I can do that too, without ink." This is quite a nice review of an ink many may not try thumbup.gif

Under what circumstances would one need invisible ink?

Minipeanut loves BG. We write each other notes in it, and he writes out his spelling words with it every week, so it's a study aid for kids. (See how I justified that? That's Mom Think at work!) Others have pointed out that it's good for writing notes on papers that need to be photocopied/scanned without the notes showing.

Thanks for the review. I haven't tried it in a flex pen, but it goes on pretty wet with a Preppy highlighter or a Plumix.

I love this ink. I put it in magic markers and use it to pester my kids.bunny01.gif

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I think it's mostly for novelty. I also believe it can be used in ink mixing (carefully!) to provide a UV glow. Before you ask why, keep in mind that many papers and other ink colors (not just Noodler's) use some UV dyes to 'brighten' the ink's basic color.

Here is a doodle with each of the Noodler's highlighter inks and some ghost blue. You can see that I added a drop of the ink to the page and swirled it around. The ghost blue got mixed in a few times.

Cool Amber, what does it look like under a blacklight?

It would look much cooler if I had a bigger black light and could take a picture. I would say it looks like ghost jelly bellies.
