Oops!!! How I missed that!!! But still part of the question stands. Did they vary over the years? Like how about comparing 14C, 14K, 18C, 18K nibs if at all one has time to do that. Also, am I to understand that 146 and 149 nibs do not vary at all (seems reasonable)?

I think it's the other way around actually ;) their nibs vary so much even within the same year, that you won't notice much difference :)

Now seriously. Some of the older nibs seem to be more flexible, so leaning on the broader side. My monotone 14K 146 is in that category.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

I imagine that you will find as much variation between nibs of the same width on the same model during a given year (one EF to another EF) as you will between years or between models. Since each nib is hand finished each nib will be quite different.

Dear Sagar_C, whilst I agree with other members that there are probably not two identical MB nibs, I also feel that individual variations are within a quite predictable range. May be with the exception of very wide EF/very thin F, which may be quite similar each other, most of the other nib widths are quite peculiar. You wont have the same feeling with a "pointed" EF, a round M, a squarish B or BB, or with oblique nibs.

Here is a shot of the tips of some 149 nibs (from the upper and the lower sides). As you see, they span over 30 years in their production...

And here how the same five nibs write... Hope it can help.
