Finally Found My "jorg Hysek"

Packing to move does have its advantages. This pen has been missing for years. I've had the box, paperwork and leather holder on my desk, minus the pen for so long I was certain the pen was lost forever! Well, I finally found it in a box that was never unpacked from my last move along with other items from my desk. I've researched the pen a bit but know very little of this particular model. I do know it is not the "high end" Jorg Hysek's I did see; I'm not that lucky! Is there anyone out there who may be interested in this pen and would like to see pictures? If so, please let me know? I have used it and the chrome (?) is a bit marked but the barrel (also unknown material) is in great shape. The packaging is amazing. I can't imagine the cost just to put this box together. Very impressive!

This pen was a gift and from my best recollection is probably about 12 years old. It does say "Meta Design" if that helps. I hope I've posted this in the correct category as I am only seeking information and interest at this point. Please PM me with any questions. It has been quite a long time since I've been on site so forgive me for not posting pictures immediately. I've had such a difficult time finding information on this pen that I am skeptical of much interest. Thank you.

I know nothing about them, but oddly enough there is one for sale in the classifieds.

Thank you for pointing this out. My pen is similar but has a different barrel and only one leather holder. It's black with indented lines going from the top to the bottom. Really a great pen. Take care.

Good to hear that you found it! If possible, please share some pictures!

Yes, I don't know if I am able to post a picture on this site. I'll give it a try. If not, I'll try and send you a PM to send you a picture. Here goes.....

I did see the pen with the diamonds. Gorgeous pen!

I thought the barrel was some sort of very hard rubber, but after reading your note I felt it again and it is very cold; as cold as the chrome. There is no description any place on the pen or in the booklets as to the materials used. It also has a very interesting mechanism for opening and closing the pen...plus the benefit of it being both a ballpoint and a roller ball. It really is a cool pen.

Would you mind letting me know me what type of refills you use, both roller ball and ballpoint? After all these years, my original Jorg Hysek refill is still working!

Thanks for the information on the barrel.
