Eversharp Oxford Or What Is This Pen?

Hello,

This is my first post in this forum.

I recently acquired an Eversharp that I cannot identify. To me it looks like a Wahl Oxford. However, on the clip it is branded Eversharp and the nib is engraved with Eversharp 2 flexible. Any information about this pen would be appreciated.

Hard to pinpoint as of yet in the research, but the lever is Wahl Oxford, the pressed in pocket clip is Wahl Oxford/Monitor style. The single rhomboid cap band is from the same era, but seen usually on late Equi-Poised and ladies purse pens. Both the Wahl Oxford and the late Equi-Poised in the era I am focusing on here overlap in dates of manufacture (aprox. 1934-5-6). That the clip says "Eversharp" does not fit perfectly with this scenario, but there were a lot of variations as to model names between USA, Canadian, and English versions, So what you have there is an Eversharp Pen probably in the $3 price range that otherwise has Oxford fittings. As an afterthought of speculation, if the cap top is all black and not Kashmir, then it is most probably form that very late Equi-Poised period and most likely from Europe. But then the clip from the Equipoised pens were not press in but slot and tang. Like I said easy to sort out the bits and pieces, but not enough to apply a model number to yet.

Thank you very much for the information. I bought the pen in Sweden which would indicate that it is manufactured in England, however, there is a small stamp saying made in USA on the clip. This might only refer to the clip itself though. There is flexible on the pen and I really look forward to write with it after the sac has been replaced. Would this be a screw in or friction section?
