I have only two cracked ice pens. The first one is a Bexley Simplicity that was an FPN LE a few years ago. The second is a Stipula DaVinci just like the one on the bottom of wimg's pile.

True that!

Wim those have to be the most gorgeous ice pens I have ever seen. And I don't normally care for cracked ice/fleck pens.

Thank you! This was honestly just a quick slap-up shot only, 1600 iso, fluorescent lighting, AWB, standard lens, handheld, and I didn't even set up my light tent. I do agree that the material is stunning, and I just underexposed because of the black background to get the exposure for the pens right.

That material is really that good looking indeed :D.

I'll may rephotograph them next week, and set up everything properly, do some detail shots as well :D.

Warm regards, Wim

Wim, had you not named the pens I would have thought they were the same pens. I never had the chance to acquire one of these cracked ice pens, so no pictures here.

Beautiful pix Fernan !

But are you sure this is a cracked ice CS ?

Technically no, the CS 15 is a marble pen (but a nice one!). Here are three CS cracked Ice examples I currently have:

top - early CS58 (with the gold veins)

middle - CS226 (reversed Cracked Ice)

lower - CS286

I also have a later CS58 pen & pencil set with the silver veins, but the above are for sale and so I had a photo readily available.

Mine isn't the traditional (a la vintage CS pens) cracked ice, but that's what these Esterbrook Dollar-Fifty pens are generally called.

There's a white one of these on E-bay that's going for a fortune!

I'd love to have that pen! GRRR all those other people! Leave my pen alone!

I hope someone here gets it, at least I'll get to see pictures of it restored and usable!
