Parker Arrow

I have in my possession a Parker Arrow, and I would like to see if anybody knows some more information about it.

 

The body is black, with a metal cap. The nib appears to be either a fine or an extra-fine. On the top of the cap is a white, translucent piece of... Something. (cap jewel? Sorry, but a lot of these terms are new to me) It looks like mother-of-pearl, but I honestly don't know.

 

I'd post pictures, but I'm using my iPad at the moment, and I can't upload pictures from it for some reason.

 

Any information about my little find would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I have 3 1980's Arrows,

 

A Rolled Gold One From 1981, A Stainless Steel Chrome Trim From 1985 and A Black Matte Gold Trim From 1987, All of these have a black jewel in the cap but i have heard of one with a Black Matte Barrel and a Rolled Gold Cap, Maybe yours is one of these special editions?

The only information I have on the Canadian Parker Arrows came from Tony's Parker Collector site above. I do own two Canadian Parker Arrows, a red that is excellent condition and a black with a cracked barrel. Both pens have clips like a Parker VS, and not like the "51" clip on Tony's pen pictured above. Except for the photo with the Waterman ink bottle these photos are from the eBay auctions, sorry for the quality.

Mine is more akin to algabatz's picture, except mine is black with a plain metal cap.
