Christof, you have a light tortoise! Wow~ So, your 400s are complete, I think?

Excellent picture as always!

That was fast Soot! Thanks. ...and nope, it isn't finished yet, there is still the light tortoise with light tortoise cap: Pelikan Guide

And I don't have a 500, a 520, a 600 etc... :)

Well, at least you acquired the half light tortoise, one less rare pen to search for.

The full light tortoise won't be cheap, unless you get REALLY LUCKY. :ninja:

...and not to forget the Light Tortoise with the two cap bands...

To be honest, no one of these pens was really cheap :( (and you know that, haha.)

very nice

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Okay, here we go again. Over the week end, I did the second picture with posted caps:http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6209/6092166489_9b626f3ea9_b.jpg

This pictures are quite time consuming to produce. I first have to take a photograph of every single pen, closed and with posted cap. Then the pictures were adjusted in photoshop. The color setting of every pen is different to show its color best. Then the pictures were set together. On pictures with colorful pens, sometimes the back ground (shadow) must be set on black and white because it reflects the color of the pen. Lot's of work - but I like the results.

Christof,

your method brings out the color of the pens, very simple but not simple tasked, and very time consuming.

And I would say most of us love and appreciate the result because of it!
