The first pen is an oversized Jefferson flattop in black with flexy nib! This is a very attractive and substantial pen, just under 5 1/2" capped and 6 3/4" posted. It is in nice shape with some (normal) scratching/pitting from use over the years and slight shrinkage around the cap band (nothing too severe). As you can see in the photos, neither of these flaws detracts from the subtle beauty of this pen. I especially like the white rings on the top and bottom of the pen. Clip and cap band are steel. "Made in USA" barrel imprint is still clearly readable. It comes fitted with a flexy Warranted 14k gold nib that lays down a line that ranges from a wet fine to quite broad. It looks like the nib may have been slightly bent at one point and was restored by someone. Nonetheless, this is one of the best writing flexy nibs I've encountered! The pen has a new sac and feed. The second pen is a beautiful Venus in striated celluloid. It has a new sac and is ready to write! The pattern on this pen is really gorgeous with blue/gray, light brown, and black vertical striations. It reminds me a bit of the pattern on Parker Vacumatics, though running vertically. Clip is steal. It comes fitted with an fine-to-extra-fine steal "SP" nib. This nib is not tipped with iridium but has a steel "bulb" on the end. It's a nice writer for those who like a thinner line. As you can see in the pics, this is a very handsome pen that definitely draws the eye.
