Creeks & Creeks Fp Identification

Hi Everyone,

Posted this in the new members section, but I dont belive it was really the correct place for it.

Does anyone know what pen this is? Or does anyone else own one?

It's manufactured by Creeks & Creeks, France, I believe it's late 1940s-1950s?

Beyond this I am clueless. Did'nt exactly cost a lot £2, so a bargain either way, will be even better when I can ink it

I believe Creeks & Creeks was taken over by Stypen? not sure when Creeks & Creeks ceased to function; like so many Companies they get swallowed up by competitors who phase out the previous companies products - not always the case, but the predominant business model for years now.

Oh yeah, sorry for the somewhat 3rd rate photo's, promise to try and improve the pen photography with time - some of your photo's are amazing of the pens

Hope someone can help, and have a good 2011

Alan

Sorry to disappoint but this pen is more likely 1980's than 1950's. Creeks and Creeks were created by Stypen as a sub brand I believe. In addition to fountain pens and ballpoints there were even some electronic calculators branded Creeks N Creeks, I can remember seeing the pens in UK shops back in the mid 80's. Most of them were quite attractive if not of fantastic quality, I have a couple of cheaper ones (not quite as nice as yours Alan) I bought on Fleabay tucked away somewhere and I seem to remember that the nibs are actually quite good. One to use and enjoy.

Thanks for the info so far - no dissapointments either way, just get irritated when I cannot find info on something, really need to get the pen working though, will get some converter or carts asap

I have one of those, also bought it used for almost nothing. It's quite a nice little pen, and I like the look of it.
