My brother in law just gave me this pen set and I need help trying to put it together. The pen set is by Acura Writing Instruments. My problem is tryign to assemble a pen from the parts. The ball point and fountain point are separate pieces that do not fit into the cap (at least I can't figure it out. The fountain pen point does not post in the cap, nor does it fit in the barrel that is attached to the ball point.

post-32014-0-13290400-1293387659.jpgI've attached a picture.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Kevin

It's a pocket pen. The cap goes on the section, and flips onto the back of the section to act as a full-length pen. At least, that's what it looks like. Try it out and come back with more intel.

Remember, just keep trying.

so if you take the barrel of the f/p, and the barrel from the b/p, you can't put the b/p barrel on the f/p section? hmm...

that's correct - it doesn't make sense - he gave me three of these sets and they are all the same......

The cap does not fit on the section - it's way too loose....

have you written with the fountain pen yet? if it's not that good, then maybe just call em novelty gifts and give em away? THat's so odd that the cap won't fit the f/p and that there's not a cap for it.

hmm...
