I'm a newbie. I've started buying up various cheapies pens like Lamy Safari and I've discovered that my dad has two Waterman. He doesn't know what are the models.

Congratulations, Fabio, it is a Waterman Maestro, ( same nib as the Laureat) and a nice one you've got. Using your father's pen will add a sentimental value to what it is a great student Waterman pen.

Voilà. Gold plated. The only image of this one I can find on the web is my own.

It's loaded with Cross blue. Although I have 'heavier' Watermans, this is still one of my favorite writers. I would be happy to hear someone telling me a little bit more about this release. It seems to be rare.
