For your consideration, I submit a brand new Pelikan M250, in the now untouchable green/black finish. Note that this is not a steel-nibbed M200, but the solid gold 14K 585, in a desirable medium.

Standard black M250’s are still available if one does some serious digging, and is willing to order from China. The green/black M250 is, however, entirely sold out, even in Asia. I managed to track one down in Germany (not a cache, but one single pen).

I’m very conservative when it comes to style, and this pen gets it just right: enough to be interesting, but not flashy or kitschy.

Regarding size and performance, you're essentially looking at an M400. It has the same nib (albeit without two-tone finishing), the same body, and the same build quality. If you're looking for an M400, but don't want to spend $150+, this is an excellent, and perhaps superior, alternative.

As stated, this pen is brand new, flawless, and factory fresh.

To emphasize, every retailer is sold out of the M250, worldwide. Nibs.com, when they had stock, was charging $135 ($125 plus $10 shipping), which was somewhat less than the $145 MSRP. The only place that still has a remaining cache of M250's is a pen outlet in Singapore, which charges $120 ($100 + $20 shipping) for a solid black example, with a 4-6 week downtime while the pen is in the mail.

By contrast, I sourced the M250 in question direct from Germany. Bear in mind that it is now in the US, available for immediate shipment.

Price: $115 shipped

Ordering Process

Money orders are accepted, but no personal checks.

My preferred payment method is via PayPal. If you'd like this pen, please send an "I want it" private message, with your PayPal email address mentioned in the body. For a number of reasons, it’s easier for me to send a PayPal invoice as opposed to receiving payment direct.

Once the invoice is sent, the pen is effectively held for 24 hours. If, in 24 hours, the invoice hasn't been paid, it will be canceled and I will send an invoice to the next buyer in line.

Should you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop me a line.
