that said, these are only the 1st 2 from what can potentially be my future collection *hopeful*

i hope to add some maki-es in future... was very tempted with a resin Carp maki-e from Sailor today.

Oh Dear...

I didn't know Waterman had come out with this pen. It's so very nice! Now I've just got to get one in the "Day/Night-Gold"

***Edit: You know, this pen is very much like the Visconti Opera, with the "Circleing the Square" design. No wonder I have fallen for it!***

thank you for the warm welcome everyone

i've been away from fountain pens for many years. back when i was a boy, i used to use the base pilot fountain pens as well as parker vectors.

so now, i will need some more time in the pen world before i can dare give a semi-decent review of this pen. however, my initial impression (and from those more experienced who tried it), it's a really smooth nib with great balance and the square barrel is very ergonomic.

yeah i heard that the exception has only been released in asia and europe. i do hope it will be released in the US soon so that your side of the world can see and feel that Waterman, imho, has come out with a really worthy new flagship.
