Here are some of the Deluxe SM (with jewels) and LK (no jewels) metal cap Esties that I have.

Interesting later Esties. The LK have rather soft plastic and often bare posting injury marks (just dont post peoples smile.gif)

Love those SM's AZ, and that Royal Blue in the LK is one of my favorite blues, so nice and dark. smile.gif

The Emerald Green one taking a breather, or do you need a cap for it? wink.gif

Too bad they couldn't get that posting problem figured out, these could have been real contenders. The SM's especially. I've always found the clips to be a tad bit too tight though.

Best-

Brian

Thanks for posting this! I'm seeing some colors that I hadn't seen before.

Between all of the various models that Esterbrook made, they really did make quite a large array of colors.

Best, Ann

Going through my old stuff, I just found the plum one (second from the right) with a 1554 nib. I think it's my new favorite pen.

I just got an LK Deluxe (my first Estie!) at the Atlanta Pen Show from Anderson Pens. Mine's Willow Green—the first one on the left—and I love it tremendously.

I like them too! If only the section would come off a bit more easily! They really are hard to restore...

What's the posting problem with these? Posting ring?

I have a couple of pump fillers with posting ring. Since it's there I just use them.

Those pens are really pretty. I love the green ones, and the mustard colored one on the right.
