Diamine "Blaze Orange"

Torridge

Recommended Posts

First review for me noticed that there was no review of this ink ... the bottle of Diamine "Blaze Orange" is clear and the contents look like cranberry juice! ;)

Thanks for that review - it's a seriously yummy colour... I can all but taste the oranges... now all I have to do is justify buying myself a bottle, but I can't for the life of me think when I might use it!

What a nice color and the shading is really lovely with your medium italic nib. Like Paul I find it hard to find situations in which to use orange. Might have to get a bottle of Blaze Orange, though, just in case. ;)

Thanks for the review. I use orange to make notes on papers and presentations in the office. I currently use PR Orange Crush but might have to give this a try.

Very good, I like the shading and have to say that you have good handwriting!

wseems like a recent rash of popularity for these orange inks. I personally love the Caran d'Ache Saffron; a quick check makes me think these two are very similar. Also like Noodler's Apache Sunset although that shades a little more to the brown/red. O and for those of you who can't see a use for orange: the color makes interesting impact for quick notes, like on Post-it=Notes and other such papers where you want to grab someone's immediate attention.

Interesting review, but I don't think I could use it after your very correct 'pumpkin' comparison. I could write in orange, but pumpkin? It's a striking and vivid colour, but I'll stay with the bloody undertones of Monaco Red...

"Orange Tootsie Pop". Nice. If it weren't sleeting outside I'd be off to the store.

Good review, Torridge! I have this ink and Diamine Orange. Blaze O really does benefit from a wet writer, it's a tad anemic/watered-down looking in a drier one. Diamine Vermilion is a looker too.

Italic nibs compliment your already nice handwriting
