Waterman's Green

vermiculus

Recommended Posts

I'm afraid I started to ramble a bit on this review, but here's the writing sample anyway. The pens are a Lamy 81, and a Safari with a 1.1 stub; The paper is Oxford Optik 90gsm.

A lovely bluey green, and often the only green ink available in stores. Not an everyday writer, but definitely easy on the eye and on the nib.

Again - these are my first reviews, so feedback and questions appreciated.

Nice review.

It could be the paper, but in a lighter paper like I use from standard notebooks, it looks brighter. In that picture, it looks more bluey as you say, quite teal.

I could say that I see it -always comparing with my experience in a more standard paper about 70, 80 gr.- is a color between Waterman Green and Waterman Blue-Black, which in that paper looks teal

Amazing world the ink testing!

I use this ink with a 1.1 mm stub too (Lamy Al-Star) - and I like it about as much as you do. It's become a staple ink.

I am going to pick up a bottle of Herbin Vert Empire because I like the colour so much... but I don't think that will prevent me from using Waterman Green.

Too many pens; too many inks. But at least I've emptied two ink bottles now.
