Tombow Zoom FP 848 (EGG)

This is a Tombow Zoom FP-848 fountain pen that I purchased several years ago. It is a very "fat" pen and is no longer available from Tombow, although a rollerball version is still available in the UK via ebay. It uses Mont Blanc cartridges and has, I think, a medium nib. I was planning to list it on e-bay, but I thought I would try here first to see if there is any interest. It shows signs of age and wear, the gold plating on the clip and elsewhere is worn and there are scratches and nicks on the barrel. I am writing with it now and it seems fine for that, although it does seem to leak a bit. Perhaps this would be a good restoration project for someone. It's also possible that some parts are interchangeable with the rolloerball version.

 

I'm not setting a price now, but will entertain any reasonable offers before I put it on e-bay. I have the original case and 2 unused Mont Blanc cartridges.
