Fountain pen(s) WOOD display cases

wood-of-1kind

Recommended Posts

These are all hand made WOOD display(s) cases that I've recently made in my shop. They're all SOLID wood and no MDF or flakeboard used. Real wood and(walnut, cherry, birch, maple) solidly built with craftsmanship in mind. All are oiled finished and greatly show off the natural wood grain and satiny finish and are smooth to the touch. They invite you to store and show off your collectable(pen) treasures.

The 'bookstyle' cases comfortably hold five (5) fountain pens. They're offered at the reasonable price of $40 USD. Shipping is extra. PAYPAL preferred.

If you desire to store your single fountain pen, I offer the solid wood case for the low price of $15 each. Shipping is extra.

I make these cases for pleasure since I lovingly spend my free time in my small workshop. They're not mass produced and each piece is truly one-of-a-kind work with variations amongst all items. Hopefully they will be acceped by the FPN members. I look forward to your inquiries. Enjoy.

peter,

nice looking pen boxes :)

was wondering bout the bookstyle cases...

since they can be placed on their ends, how do they hold the pens securely?

and how much gap is there in the "slots"?

(are there particular size pens that would be too wide?)

The maple pen tray has grooved slots to lend support when in the upright position. The slots will accomodate all pens that are under 7/8" diameter. Ideally the "bookcase" is stationed in the horizontal position so that the pen tray will easily slide out when left on your desk.

  • 2 weeks later...

the single pen case arrived today, it's really beautiful, and the perfect size for my Pilot 823 ...

:)

I especially love the way the wood grain gleams, and how satiny smooth it is

thanks so much!
