FS: BCHR Waterman 55, MHR Waterman 12

This Waterman 12 is an eyedropper, of course. As I hope the photo shows, it is brighter than many mottled red/black hard rubber (MHR) Waterman, with lots of red in it. The cap and barrel and in very good condition, with no scratches, chips or cracks. The barrel imprint is worn but quite legible. The #2 nib is an "Account" nib, XF and very firm, but not quite as fine a line as the #55 below. $80 CONUS.

This Waterman 55 is a big pen, by vintage standards, at 5 1/2 inches long and comfortably stout. This black chased hard rubber pen is still quite dark and its chasing is still very prominent, if a little short of being crisp, with no scratches, chips or cracks. The barrel imprint, however, is very good. The nickel clip and lever is in very good condition, with a little tarnish at the top of the clip I've not been able to remove. The section, unfortunately, has some light marks from where someone once took a pair of pliers to it. It is freshly sacced and fills perfectly--it's a large sac. The large number #5 nib is an "Account" nib and thus is an XF and very firm--it would give any Sheaffer Lifetime nib a run for its money. The nib is amazingly smooth. $75 CONUS.
