The Telegraphic Pen.

This telegraphic fountain pen, patent no. 379,368, is electrically wired so that it sends a telegraphic message when that message is written out in Morse Code. That way, a written record of the coded message was preserved for future reference at the same time that it was sent. It is also illustrated as a mechanical pencil.
