I am trawling asian Pen sites for not seen before's ...and will post to this thread. Pity there is not a brand forum for Asian Pens...it is afterall a big enough topic.

Found this just now ... there is also provision for having your name or text applied in a range of English and Asian styles.

The Glamour was made by the Platinum Pen Company. $25 is a good price. Same for the Platinum koi. Great price.

Who is the seller? Seems like someone from Taiwan as most online Japanese pen dealers refuse to sell overseas.

Where did you find these? I want one of those "Glamour" pens, if only because it's the ugliest and most impractical pen I've seen yet that didn't feature nekkid women on it.

My first impression is that I like these a lot. Where did you find them. The only problem is that if they are medium nib only, that might be a dealbreaker for me.

That looks to me like the kind of pen that a Borg (Star Trek) would use.

I wonder how comfortable it is to write with. Does it make you join the Collective? ;)

Actually, I guess it does... Look what happened to Elijah Wood after he used a Platinum Glamour:

OK, so you say that the bumpy Borg pen is made by Platinum... so why can't I find it on Platinum's website?

Where was it sold for $25.00?

Right so he found a picture of a BORG pen. Somebody made it and took a picture,

and somebody must sell it. Curious minds want to know... <_<

Chihiro- How did you know my name was Chihiro?

Haku- I have known you since you were very small.

Stan is right it is a platinum ....the reason you cannot find one is that it is a domestic Japanese model ...there are many like this that we will never see. I am cultivating (sucking up to) a contact in Tokyo ...so I might have a line for future models of Japan only pen.

Must go ...but the cyborg stuff really deserves a reply.
