Looking For Blue Pens

Recommended Posts

I am obsessed with blue demonstrator/translucent/see through pens. I don't know what it is but I LOVE them. I have a Pilot CH 47 in blue and I want all the blue pens lol. What are all of the blue demonstrator/opaque/see through pens you can think of (non-vintage please)? I even like the ones that are maybe not considered demonstrators but that you can still through a bit. Thanks for your help (although my hubby and bank account will not be pleased).

There's the Stipula Passaporto & a translucent blue Sheaffer Nononsense (from the 80's I think?). Peyton Street Pens does a blue green (really a dark teal) Ranga ebonite body mated to nos Sheaffer inlaid nib sections. There's also an acrylic version.

Got a Vac on the way.

EDIT: I think by 'opaque' you might mean 'translucent'. Opaque is the opposite of see-through, so the Classic might not be what you're looking for!

10 years on PFN! I feel old, but not as old as my pens.

At the other end of the cost spectrum, check out the translucent blue "dilli" by the folks at Fountain Pen Revolution. They sell inexpensive pens from India, including ones under their own "brand" that they designed themselves.

A great little piston fill pen for the money.

Pelikan M205 - I believe there may be more than one color of blue even. (sargetalon has at least one of them. Do a search you will find his photos)

OMG I am so dumb. Yes, I did mean translucent. I've been working too much and have lost all brain function.

What about the Pilot Custom Heritage 92 in blue?

It's a piston filler, too! And a wonderful pen at that :)

Noodler's makes several. I have a Konrad in Hudson Bay Fathom (which is sort of a turquoise) and a Flex Creeper in Cobalt. I see that Ahabs and Creepers are also available in the Hudson Bay. Plus several of the models are a color called "Truk Lagoon" which also looks as if it might be a demonstrator. although that is more pale teal than blue.
