The stitching, leather, and quality all looks good! I have the same model but holds two pens. I'm not an expert on their vintage or older items and this may be one of them per the ring around my logo is silver colored, yours appears to be gold..? Also the stamp on yours says Hamburg where as my leather goods say "Made in France/Spain" but again, all of mine are brand new from this year.

Get a flashlight or in good lighting and there may be a little tag on the inside stitched into the leather. It's stitched at the top so you have to pull the tag up out of the pen sleeve. That would have the logo and serial/model number on it. I'm not sure what year they started doing this though.

I keep thinking about selling some of my pens but all that happens is I keep acquiring more!

I don't think the Sienna case has any separators between pens. At least my two pen version does not. I also have another model that is a hard leather case with a flip up flap which has a cool design. This model has what appears to be leather walls between the slots but if you put your finger into the slot it is apparent that they only go down half way for some reason. For this case, as well as the Sienna case I made protective tube sleeves from black scarf material. The point of the case is to protect the pens. But I don't see the point if they are rubbing on one another inside the case. The fabric sleeves eliminate this problem.

I have the 3 pen Siena case and it does have the separators and mine is definitely genuine. Regarding the case posted by the OP, it looks genuine to me.

Yes, on the back of the case below "MONTBLANC" it is write " hamburg" that's why I am a bit worried, the sleeves I looked on the internet had on the back " made in Germany"

Yes both the 2 pen Siena case and the 3 pen Siena case come with separators.

OP your pen pouch (pounch? LOL) looks like an authentic Siena pen pouch to me.

I agree with orfew and chrissy. Both my triple and double have separators. If they didn't the pens could get damaged my clanging together so it would be poor if they didn't.

But, my concern is because it's stamped " hamburg" on the back, and not " made in Spain/ Germany etc." for example on my mb wallet I have stamped " MONTBLANC" and below " made in Germany"

There are several different stamps on the backs of leather items. They don't suggest authenticity or otherwise

I asked the seller and he told me there is no serial number inside, just stamped "MONTBLANC".

All mb leather pouches have a serial inside? If it does, where?

Sorry, yes, my two pen Sienna case has pseudo separators. They are only attached to the back and easily flop over to the side. If you put your finger in a slot you will see that the "separator" only goes down about an inch and half. There is therefore an illusion that the pens are separated, when in fact they can rub together at the bottom especially in the softer Sienna case.

The pen socks illustrated serve the purpose of providing soft protection along the entire length of the pen, which the separators do not do. They stay in the case and the pens can be inserted or removed easily.

In conclusion is there any serial inside the pouch?

Hi Pitagora, it is possible there may not be a serial number inside if it is old enough. So it could be real and not have a tag. I have a feeling this may be the case since the ring is gold and it says "Hamburg" which seems to be of the older pouches. It sounds like you haven't purchased it yet? The seller may be missing the inside tag if it has one but from multiple people's conclusions, the pictures appear to be of a genuine Montblanc.

Here are pictures of my pouch with the tag. It's on the right side sewn into the back of the opening. Don't mind the felt pads, I put them in as they're softer than the rough plastic edges of the 'dividers!'

Many thanks for your photo.

How old could this be?

Seller told me he has this from 2007-2008

Mine don't have any serial numbers and they are authentic. Pitagora, you don't need to worry that yours isn't authentic because it is. It's just slightly older. Mb regularly change minute details. They changed the snowcap symbol, and now they may put serial numbers inside.
