I found a celluloid Omas in a wonderful royal blue (thanks to Whichwatch), a Vintage MB 144 in green, and a MB 149 with a 2 tone nib from the 80's. It was a very good day! Thanks for looking. Paul

All are beautiful. So jealous. I have planned to go to Chicago show but plans fell through - very disappointed as it would have been my first pen show. But family and friends do have to come first....

Enjoy your new pens.

It's always easier to spend someone else's money! :D

Beautiful pen, Paul. Love the color! I hope you enjoy it a great deal!

score!

"No one needs to rotate a pen while using an oblique, in fact, that's against the whole concept of an oblique, which is to give you shading without any special effort."Professor Propas, 24 December 2010

"IMHO, the only advantage of the 149 is increased girth if needed, increased gold if wanted and increased prestige if perceived. I have three, but hardly ever use them. After all, they hold the same amount of ink as a 146."FredRydr, 12 March 2015

Fantastic purchases! Like everyone else I love the green striated 144. I hope you enjoy these pens for many years to come.

Very nice finds! Congratulations on your purchases as the green MB is truly a nice-looking pen. You'll also have to tell us how the OMAS writes as the brand has been on my interest list for a while.

Love that MB 144; looks like what a Pelikan wants to be when it grows up. No offense to Pelikan-lovers meant.

I picked up a M&K Pelikan 120 for half the price that it's usually sold for on eBay, and it is wonderful. (And fits my small hands perfectly).

I fell in love with (but did not buy) the Edison 1.1 stub -- omg, that was one of the smoothest writing experiences I've ever had. New grail pen: Edison Beaumont Pneumatic Filler with a 1.1 stub.

Bert Oser let me try a Namiki Falcon, and that, too, I must own. He also surprised me with a spectacularly smooth Duke -- a little heavier than I'd like, but for $15, how could I resist?

I saw a few of the 120's… Came close to getting one. Terrific pick up. Enjoy!

Beautiful pens all.
