Gold Or Platinum Boheme

Rumyana

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

I am about to buy a Montblanc Boheme but I still wonder which finish looks more elegant- the gold or the platinum...?!?

I would appreciate your opinions!

Thank you :)

It is a matter of personal preference. Personally I prefer the platinum trim version.

+1

Mine is platinum, and without stone.

In my opinion the more elegant and discrete among the Bohémes is the Marron, with rose gold accents and a brown, almost unnoticeable stone.

This is my wife's fountain pen. She also has a Bohéme Marron ballpoint and a Bohéme, golden brown pouch for two pieces. It is a stunning and absolutely elegant set.

I had a Boheme with Platinum trim and a blue stone in the clip. The black, silver and blue is a very elegant look.

I have a Boheme fountain pen with a heart shaped ruby stone, the trim is yellow gold. I love the pen, but always think that the gold is quite a deep colour and a little garish. I also have a Boheme fineline writer trimmed with platinum and a blue stone, as other members have said above, it's a very attractive look.

I like the look of the platinum trim on the Boheme. I have one with Platinum and blue stone and one without the stone.

Having said that, the ones with gold trim looks fabulous as well.

Good luck!

Do these Boheme's have counterfeit pens? I was looking on the bay, and just because they are priced at $500 USD or so does not indicate they are real pens. I would be interested in picking up a Marron.

Like most have said, it boils down to personal preference. Sometimes gold can be a little gaudy for me unless it is more subtle and acts as an accent. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Why not get both?? :D

Hav fun with it!
