Rumored 2014 101N

I've been thinking about getting the 101N Lizard for a while now, but I've heard rumors that there is another one for 201, and that the new one will be red4? Anyone have anymore insight on this? I am in love with the color red, so I would be more than happy to wait and get the red one.

The image was of a vintage 100N Magnum, an interesting pen under any circumstances. If they reproduce THAT it would be a fine thing.

Generally Regina is pretty well connected to the folks in Hannover, so it may be true.

We shall see . . .

Is there any official information of Pelikan about this pen? I visited its site and there is nothing about this pen.

Write, write, write. Use your pens not your fingers !!!

If only they would make it in an economy version...for those Pelikan fans that do not have the courage to sally forth and empty their wallets....I mean, I've still got to buy ink!

I really like Pelikans self made Replicas. Unfortunately, the 101N series doesn't comes as close to the originals as the LE 1931/35 "Originals of their time" series does.

...and I still prefer vintage pens. That's why I made my own 2014 101N, haha.

So will actually only the knob and the cap be red as in the above photo, and the barrel will remain green as normal?

I am very sorry about the misunderstanding I brought on.

The pen in the picture shown by me is a fantasy 101N which has been assembled from different vintage Pelikan parts. It has nothing to do with the announced reissue of a Pelikan 101N. It also is not an original vintage pen made by Pelikan. It's just ( a very nice one in my opinion...) Frankenpen.

Sorry again for this.

Christof;

Your pen is beautiful. The rumored replica could do much worse then to look like yours. I agree with you, I think the 193X Originals of Their Times series are fabulous pens and but for the price I would have a Jade and a Lapis version. Something to dream about on these cold winter nights.

If the new release is like one of those, I'm definitely in! Love that creamy brown swirl contrast with the rust red. Just hope it isn't as unsubtle as that M101N tortoise reissue .....

I chose my user name years ago - I have no links to BBS pens (other than owning one!)
