My Newly Acquired Parker Duofold Big Red!

So I just acquired a Parker Duofold Senior Big Red in permanite, c. 1926, and I wanted to share some photos I took of the pen. I don't have the original box for the pen, but the modern Duofold Centennial box substitutes quite well for it.

The pen is equipped with a 14K medium firm nib, and it puts down a wet line on paper.

This pen is in surprisingly great condition, given its age. Whoever built these pens surely intended them to last a really long time.

I hope you enjoyed these photos!

How do I go about getting the barrel threads on my red Duofolds as clean as these two pens? One is Permanite, the other hard rubber. Both are Juniors.

This indeed seems to be a great buy.

If you don't mind letting me know, how much did you buy it for?

Thanks and Regards
