Creeks & Creeks was a French company in the 80s & 90s that made advertising objects including pens. There quality was about the same as from most any advertising level product.

Creeks was a clothes brand in the late 80s, early 90s in France. As a student, you could find a whole line of school-related products in supermarkets back in the day, from copybooks to pens.

Many of my school friends had such pens, they were your average school pen, costing the equivalent of nowadays' 4-5$. Nothing too solid, but still decent.

When the clothes brand got less fashionable, yet more established, it was still possible to find the fountain pens for a few years, and they did more designs, that weren't brand-related.

They were easily identifiable, with the ring at the end of the barrel

If I may suggest, look into Daniel Hechter pens from the 80s. This ones had really good nibs.

I was under the impression that the Creeks pens were actually done by Stypen, out of France. I'm pretty sure the one I have had that somewhere on it...

That's very possible, Harlequin. They weren't produced by Creeks, that's for sure.

Seems very probable; I vaguely remember that Stypen also made Harley Davidson pens. But why would a pen not made by Creeks be labeled Creeks Renault? A joint venture of clothes and cars?

Corporate Advertising giveaways. Creeks & Creeks made advertising items too.
