Help With Elysee Pen Identification/value

This is my first post.

 

I've been using fountain pens sporadically for a long time, but recently I renewed this old passion.

I have few pens, most of them cheap ones, none really expensive, but some good workhorses.

Because of the "addictive factor" - that's one certainly everyone here knows - I'm looking for pens with affordable prices and good value on the local auction sites.

 

Then, I found a beautiful model of Elysee pen, the seller tells it is in a good working condition, I really liked it, but I need some help to avoid regrets:

1- Is it possible that one is fake or replica?

2- The seller is asking about 90 USD. Is it a good value for this money?

I can't help with model, and on value I can only offer this: Elysee were, when first sold, a relatively expensive pen, and my very small experience with them indicates that the quality was there to back up the cost. Leaving aside the brand, I would look at the attributes of the pen (materials, quality of finish and construction, wear) and decide whether it was worth $90 to me. In the abstract, I'd say that it's not a bad cost for the pen, looking at other $80-$100 pens available at the moment, assuming the signs of age aren't more evident in person.

 

Also, it's not MY $90, so I can be very free with it.
