Wow, an M900 Concerto. I'd love to see some more pictures of that one, if it's not too much trouble.

It's interesting that they call it concerto, yet the musical motif on it is from Beethoven's 9th symphony. :)

I would normally take the time to leave a longer comment, but now, I have to drive my collection to a low self-esteem therapist.

Very nice. Do you have a favourite? I know from your previous posts you were happy to buy the first pen thr you've pictured so if I were to guess I'd say this was your favourite.

We have one pen in common, the Parker Sonnet silver fougère, 18ct M nib. I love this pen, it is the pen I've had the longest and was given to me as a reward for doing well during my first year of Uni.

Fabulous collection Olivier :puddle: Thank you very much for sharing with us :clap1:

I also would like to know whether you have a particular favourite! Do they all get into your rotation? Any plans to expand in a particular direction?

A great pictorial feast to end the evening on. I only wish we could see more collections like this.

Beautiful pens Olivier. Thank you for sharing. I am particularly fond of the Oldwin and some of those Duponts.

I echo others in "what is your favorite?"

lots of Dupont, what do you think about celluloid or Urushi pens?

Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing

I also am wondering if you have a favourite pen, and do you have a favourite writer?

Thanks for the kind comments ! I was trying to start to answer after posting, but the modem went to sleep.

I don't really have one favourite. I'm especially fond of the Dupont honey guilloché "beehive" and the Second Empire. But the Second Empire is too huge to leave the desk, so in terms of using, it's more limited. I don't have a favourite writer neither. Let's say my least favourites are the Stipula T because let's admit it, it's a third tier pen, and the Sailor Pro Gear, because it's too short to write unposted, and I don't like posting.

On celluloid pens : at the moment, I haven't found one I really wanted. I have a few vintage ones though.

On urushi pens : my brother has got a Nakaya cigar pen (don't know the name), and it's a wonderful writer. I will eventually add one to my collection, but you know how it is. 4 months delay to get one... So everytime I'm about to order one, I find another pen to buy (this time it was the Waterman Edson Boucheron), postponing the order. But I'm sure I will end up with one, the "Ascending Dragon" is really beautiful.

Jttoft, you will find pictures here
