A smashing review of one of my favourite inks! I really like it and especially the way it dries more 'blue', losing just a hint of its green.

Unfortunately it leans towards green too much for me.

Have you looked at Presidential Blue or Misty Blue? I've always really rated the former and just 'discovered' the latter. I'll be putting some scans on here pretty soon - watch this space!

Nice blue - shading sows up wel in the numerals....

Yes gorgeous blue and lovely shading that gives it character.

Since I like blues with a touch of green, this ink looks beautiful to me.

 

The photos don't do the colour justice. The blue is very beautiful.

That is a lovely blue. I have never tried it but have had a good experience with Diamine. It looks suitable for a multitude of uses.

Seek that which is true, beautiful, and good.

I agree with you, it is certainly lovely and I have found I use it frequently for a multitude of tasks.

I find the WES Kensington Blue 2009 sample I have runs a bit greener than the Kensington Blue (WES noticably absent) I replaced it with. Has anyone else noticed this? I was suprised, but happily so to see less green in my newer bottles.

I have the WES Kensington Blue and its a favourite colour, also responds very nicely to dilution, start at 50/50 for a very attractive shade.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
