As much as I agree with quote, I know enough unreasonable people. I shudder at thought of what they would consider progress.

Wonderful pen. Thanks for sharing.

All I want is 1 more pen, and 1 more bottle of ink, and maybe 1 more pad of paper. Well, at least until tomorrow. Oh yeah, and throw in that bottle of single malt. Is that asking for too much?

thanks Chris.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

nice pen and good quote

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Very nice - this is one of those amusing quotes which actually contains a lot more depth than implied at first read. The other one I like along these lines is "Consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds" by Emerson.

Thanks for sharing - and what paper is that, btw? :)

True bliss: knowing that the guy next to you is suffering more than you are.

The Emerson is actually a little different--"A FOOLISH consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds"--and this refines the sense of it.

Ah, interesting. I have always recalled it without the "foolish" part, for some reason. That still seems more profound, though... adding foolish makes it a little, well, obvious! :)

A similarly oft MISquoted quote: "Money is the root of all evil" vs " The love of money is the root of all evil".

This pen is a monster. ;) Is it comfortable to write?

It took me a little while to get used to it, but yes. I perfer to write with it uncapped, for my hand it helps it lay in my hand better.

Thanks! The paper is actually resume paper. I got a good deal on a few reams of it, it is lovely to write on :)

Hehe, we're in the same preschool then, I guess ;) By the way, mine is an EF too, bought during the fall of 1994, and when gently asked, it flexes up to B. How old is yours, and how does it behave ?

I have had the pen for around two years now, I just recently got the EF on it I. I have noticed it is a bit scrachy at times, but I switched to Noodles Heart of Darkness and it seemed to fix that problem. My only complaint I have with it is sometimes after I fill it when I go to use it again it looks as if it threw up in the cap, thus causing a few choice words to be expelled. Other that that, I love it.
