Holding The Pelikan M1000

Hi all,

I've had my eye on an m1000 for a while already and have been obsessively reading the reviews on it on FPN... But one thing I noticed is that no pics exist that actually show the pen in the hand. It would be good to see how big it actually is in action, so attention all m1000 owners! Please post pics of you holding the m1000 unposted so that its true gargantuan size can be revealed to all! cool.gif

Thanks in advance.

Jack.

Its not just big, its also heavy. I really like the pen, but I don't post it because then it tends to feel unbalanced in my (medium-sized) hands.

Well, I haven't yet seen it 'in action' but I'd assume that if I'd ever purchase one I'd use it unposted. The thing is huge anyway, why make it huger??

Do you think it could be used as a daily writer, or is it too heavy?

Definitely not too heavy, and its very well balanced, if (big if )I don't post it. It would make an excellent daily writer

I have smaller hands.

Ive shown 2 others of comparison. And yes I prefer the M1000 posted...

And... Ive also discovered how hard it is to be a hand model and photographer at the same time...

the m1000 is a big pen but it is still very comfortable to write with

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Pierce,

Pictures say a thousand words. So that's quite an essay you have there.
