Hi Line,

 

there is the Sailor King Eagle nib.

Unfortunately I used a completely inadequate paper coated inkjet paper and drawed on the wrong uncoated side, so it feathered like crazy.

Be patient, this is my second drawing since 20 years

 

Feathering may be appropriate for this drawing! It wouldn't be an Eagle without feathers

Pterodactylus - You have many nice pens, I believe you should add a couple Soenneckens!!

The nib on my Commander Senior is really a good writer. I think it might be a Degussa nib:

Thanks for clarifying this. It's kind of strange because online at Goulet's the two ink look so different, but in this thread they look very similiar. I'll have to get a sample of each sometime and see which one I like best with my pens.

Sorry to hear about the drought, I suppose it's like 'swings and roundabouts': you guys get the pen shows and we get the shiraz!

Thank you, tringle! These are new to me. Seems they were ahead of their time regarding ink storage/supply mechanisms.

 

I thought I had all the flex nibs I could dream of, but now I see that an eagle is missing in my collection.

The ink scanned darker than what it really looks like. It's more of a pink on this paper.

Parker 45 XF steel nib with Lamy Red
