The Inexpensive Windsor?

Hello All,

Tonight, I received this pen from a friend who knew I wanted to start collecting pens. For that, I am extremely grateful. I'm pretty sure it's an inexpensive Cross- probably bought at an office supply store like Staples. I'm not sure of the model name, but the box has Cross/Dalton and the # AT0582-3KR

BP/K-RING

It is a set with two ball point pens. The large one pictured below and a smaller bullet one on a key chain. I have "doodled" with the large one quite a bit tonight and it writes very well. It has a silver twist "cap" and black body (forgive me if I'm calling the pieces by the wrong name- I'm very new to this hobby). The "cap" twists and then the point is exposed.

This set I found on E-bay is similar but not the same. It is just a guess that my pen is also a Windsor because of the shape of both pens. My "bullet" pen is almost identical to this one.

So, thanks for any information I can receive. I may do a quick review in the coming days if we can narrow down an actual model name/number for it.

You could convert your second pen into a pencil:http://www.cross.com/switch-it/switchithome.aspx?cat_name=Switch_It_Home

Its not right to undermine the cost of these pens; Calais and Windsors' are inexpensive only in Cross domain.

These Indian pens worth US $0.04 write well, of course I don't mean to compare.vbg.gif
