Here we present the limited edition fountain pen of Pelikan "The Lighthouse of Alexandria":

 

 

At a height of approximately 440 feet (134 meters), the Lighthouse of Alexandria was one of the largest of the Seven Wonders of the World. The lighthouse is also significant historically as it was one of the first navigational beacons in the history of seafaring: surviving for almost 1,000 years before it was destroyed in an earthquake.

 

 

The Lighthouse of Alexandria fountain pen in "The Seven Wonders of the World” Edition series is Pelikan's tribute to this unique architectural monument. The exclusive fountain pen recalls the technical and artistic masterpiece that is unique in its scale, degree of precision and craftsmanship.

 

 

Each detail was designed and crafted with devotion: the lighthouse design artistically engraved on the front of the fountain pen, and the dark blue varnished shaft, edged in gold. The cap, with its four stylized lighthouse windows, and the gold plated clip are intricately worked.

This series has only 440 masterpieces, number that refers to the height of this structure: The Pharos of Alexandria that was 440 ft. high and took over 20 years to build it.
