The nib is marked: Watermans 18ct 3 France

The cap has: WATERMAN on the clip, and Double or Lamine on the rim of the cap.

The filling system has me completely confused, how does it work? :headsmack:

I don't own such a pen, so I wouldn't know. Yet, the space around the little metal tongue suggests it can be pressed or translated. Time to experiment ? ;)

I found this picture, that suggests there's a cartridge inside the tube. Did you check if you could pull something out of yours ? It could be some kind of plunger system.

I managed to pull it out, but when I tried to flush water into the metal section, it came out of the section where the metal tongue is. I'm considering purchasing a CF converter for the pen instead, if I can't figure out how the metal part is meant to work.

Thanks for your help!

I wonder if this metal tube is not some sort of home-made converter (by someone who has a metal-working lathe (or whatever the technical term is)

Now this metal lip could be some sort of lever, either for compressing a sac inside, or for releasing the end part of the tube. If it releases the end-part it might work as a Touchdown (like Sheaffer).

Alas the pic only shows this tube from one side. The pic provided by Olivier is too hazy to discern if it is the same thing.
