Found it at a thrift store, my guess is it's from the early '50s. How often does something like this come up? Is it worth it to go back and get the other two if they are still there? Would anyone have an interest in something like this?

I'd rather spend my money on pens instead of shoes and handbags.

The lead/ tubes are not hard to find, but the display is definitely far less common.

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.

On Tuesday I'm going to see if the others are still there. I wouldn't be surprised if they are seeing as most people wouldn't know what the lead is for with todays pencils taking such tiny lead.

I'd rather spend my money on pens instead of shoes and handbags.

That's a nice find. I have some of the leads for my old pencils. It's sure fun to see them in their "display" from the store!
